Unused Bits and Pieces (1)

I've been looking through my stories, trying to decide where to pick up next, when I stumbled across my collection of unused bits and pieces. Not all of them I can give away now, since some were supposed to be in parts of my stories that aren't even published yet.

1. Big Cars, Small... (from Tempting Darkness)
Here's a little something that came to mind which didn't really fit into my story, it is silly enough the way it is.

"Do you know what they say about guys who drive a Porsche?" Kurtis asked.
"No. What do they say?" Kazuya asked him sceptically.
"Well, rumour has it, that there is a connection between a fast car and the size of you know what. As compensation for it"
Kazuya grinned and shook his head. "What a silly idea. Where's the connection between having a small one and being able to afford an expensive car?"
"Maybe god thought it would be unfair for one to have a lot of money and the body of a sex god"
"Oh, then I should be alright. I have nothing to do with HIM."

Below you can find two more Kazuya/Kurtis pieces which belong to a later part of the story, it might give a little hint on what may happen...

Three updates in one day.

Somehow I managed to update three of my stories today.

The first one I updated. My Kazuya/Jun story (Is this Love?), which is in German by the way...
I had this finished for a couple of days now and I just needed to type it into my computer (it was handwritten - again).
Jun is still at the opening banquet of the 2nd Tournament. She meets Kazuya eye to ey. Later Michelle, Lei, Baek and her talk about Kazuya Mishima and Paul Phoenix.

The second story was Tempting Darkness my TR/Tekken Crossover.
Kurtis has a horrible day, some bad news for him and Kazuya annoys him.
This story had been ready for a while, but I am revising it.
Acutally you will find the next chapter, where Kazuya gets into a bit of trouble, on my website as well. It is not on fanfiction.net yet.

And the third was Silent Assassin (aka Time to Try Again)
My Nina story. She reports back to her boss and is immediately send off again, to finish the task.
This is actually the only chapter I have finished today. The beginning of it is probably the oldest piece released today, but the end is fresh.

A picture to my story

For quite some time now I had this idea to draw a picture for my story, but I am no good at drawing.

Yesterday, I tried again. I picked a Lara comic picture which I then tried to draw myself.

When looking for a motive, I noticed, that I like the face of "Michael Turner"s Lara the best.

I picked the final picture, of the second Tomb Raider/Witchblade (1998) where Lara is in the pool.

Dangerously in Love Last Chapter

I am very close to finishing my story 'Dangerously in Love'. I am writing the last chapter and I have finished it except for a few gaps I still have to fill.

I may write a Tekken-Epilog, something that has got nothing to do with Lara any more, but we will see about that.

Story Writing

A few days ago I had this urge to rewrite "Tempting Darkness". Although I had decided that the first chapters were finished, and already published them in the forum, I somehow changed a few things again. I am going to update this soon, although I am not certain that this is the final version yet. (What did I change: I improved the writing style, although it is still far from perfect. I made Kazuya even more unreasonable. The police is going to question him concerning the attack in the garden.)

Inbetween I wrote a few lines for the last chapter of Dangerously in Love. I am still having a tiny problem with a present Kazuya wanted to give Lara. I cannot get into detail, since I don't want to tell you what he is getting her.

I also wrote a few lines for the third story (strangely enough I had the most fun with this, but it is very frustrating, if no one reads it. But of course no one can, till I publish it. But I can't, before I have finished DIL and TD and did you see me finish DIL? - No? - Didn't think so. I have to get this done, I have to, have to, have to. I can't see it anymore....

I am also translating DIL into German, for my other readers. I am still stuck in Chapter 5, and I have changed everything. Next I will change the english version again.

I hate writing stories.

And there are still the other projects I have to finish...

I am also having some trouble with my story about Jin's twin-sister. Some of the ideas I had "Like Fire and Ice" (my Kazuya/Lee highschool story) have gone into this. And I don't know which story I should continue and which ideas go where.

Yes, yes. I have begun a new story. This time it's a Tekken only story. It is about a character I have made up. I had this idea of what would be if Jin had a twin sister, and now he has.

Jin and Ayumi Kazama moved to Tokyo to stay with their grandfather, after their mother died. But they were separated. Ayumi was sent to a school in America, while Jin stayed in Japan to learn Mishima Karate.

Current Status: Other Fictions

Like Fire and Ice
Like Fire and Ice is the newest addition to my stories. It's a piece about Lee Chaolan and Kazuya Mishima as teenagers. I cannot remember how and when I got the idea for this story but it was just recently that I started it. I think it was just some random idea that wouldn't fit in any other story (Dangerously in Love, Tempting Darkness or Silent Assassin), so I just made a new one.

Chaolan and Kazuya are still going to school. Kazuya will be about 16 and Chaolan 15. So far they have had private lessons, but now they have to go to a public school where they will have to get along with their classmates. Both boys will have a bit of trouble with that and they will come up with totally different ways to cope with it.

Yes, I am still convinced that Lee is the family name. In China (as well as Japan) they put it the other way around and that's a rule they seem to have followed in Tekken. It also says Ling Xiaoyou, and you will (hopefully agree with me that Ling is the family name). Also in Lee's Tekken 4 ending he is called "Mr. Lee". Don't ask me why the Japanese Names eg. Kazuya Mishima, Heihachi Mishima have not been written that way. I don't know. Still I might call Lee, Lee, but that's because it's his fighting name.

Story for the 2nd King of Iron Fist
I am currently also writing a story about the 2nd Tournament. However it is written in German. I have not published it on ff.net yet, but you can find it on tekkenforum.de

Time to Try Again Aka Silent Assassin
This fanfiction about Nina Williams and Kazuya Mishima has been resting for a while. I have written some more behind the scenes but it is not enough to publish it. Besides I have written bits and pieces that won't fit together yet.

Ok, while writing that I have changed my mind and uploaded Chapter 3 to fanfiction.net, even though it's not much.

What happens next?
I hope I am not telling you too much, just to be on the safe side, I will write it in white letters, so if you want to read it, you have to mark the next section with your mouse.

Current Status: Dangerously in Love and Sequels

So here is the current status of my stories:

Dangerously in Love
This story is close to being finished. I am working on the last chapter, which will probably end up as three chapters or so. I find it hard to end this story I had so much fun with, and I am glad that some of you really liked it.

Quick Comment: I am currently on page 150, can you believe it.

But back to the topic: I was not sure where I should continue. Right where I left off, in the evening, or next morning?

Will everything work out fine? Or will she run into Heihachi again? I won't tell you just yet. Just one thing: there will be a bit more excitement, but just a little bit.

Did I mention that I am working on a sequel? This time it will take place in England, and there will be Kurtis involved. Sounds like trouble? You are absolutely right. I am still trying to make it fair for Kurtis. I have nothing against Kurtis (except that his controls in the game sucked!) but I just don't see him with Lara. Don't ask me why, personal taste I guess. The title will be: Tempting Darkness. It's currently 68 pages, which I am holding back, since I wanted to participate in the Fanfiction Contest. I am probably not going to make it, since I am not even close to finishing and I know how long I took with DiL. But nevermind.

Dangerously in Love Alternative
In case you haven't noticed, I have written an alternative to the original DiL. It shows Kazuya's side of the story and tells you what happens before he and Lara meet. The dark side of DiL. I like it even though it is unfinished and always will be since I am not going to write the whole story again, but I really loved making Kazuya bad, bad, bad... He could be worse if you just let me... this is probably not the last story I write about him, and since I have started 4 more stories with him (one of them being Tempting Darkness), that's correct.
