Isn't the internet a cool place? You can display everything you are doing... which geocaches you have found, what you are listening to, how many trophies/achievements you have earned in games.

Here's my life:

My primary geocaching profile:

My PSN Trophies:

My Xbox live Achievements:
tombraidergirl

My youtube account:
http://de.youtube.com/user/tombraidergirlnet

What I'm listening to; my last.fm account:
So Jan had this silly idea to complete his frell-machine... we've watched way too much Farscape and Battlestar Galactica lately.

The Frell-Machine is a "program" that curses any entered subject (like your own name, someone elses name, Windows...) or just generally curses. It uses different curses from all kinds of TV shows, or other genres, like for example the word frell which is a placeholder for the f-word in Farscape, as is frak in BSG.

My most favourite curse right now is:
Frak the frelling shiong mao niao!

shiong mao niao was used in Firefly and means panda urine.

If you want to try out the frell-machine (please keep in mind that it is still being finetuned), follow this link:
- It's a feature not a bug -

A few weeks ago, around the time when Firefox 2.0 came out, I bought a new keyboard & mouse (Wireless Laser keyboard/mouse 6000 from Microsoft).

When I installed Firefox 2.0 I first encountered a problem where the page would jump back to the top the first time I clicked on a link further down the page. Naturally I suspected the Microsoft product, who can blame me.

So I did everything that came to my mind:
- tried all mouse-settings (different scrolling and clicking options)
- reinstalled the drivers
- tried another mouse...

and look what happened: the same bug with the other mouse...

Then I suspected that it might be because they were both USB devices (at that point I already knew that FF 2.0 was at least a bit involved, since the second mouse is my regular laptop mouse and never made any trouble with FF 1.5).

So I tried the mouse I used before (PS/2). But still the problem was there.

For days I regulary checked for FF updates and searched the internet.... until today when I decided, I had enough and reverted back to FF 1.5....

Moments later I finally found the solution:

PRESS F7 once....

This is not a bug, it's some kind of feature that can be deactivated... what kind of feature is this? Annoy the windows-user with sillyness so he feels at home????

Anyway: This problem is profile-related and often appears where FF has been running with the same profile from the start. Somewhere this "option" is carried on and suddenly becomes an issue in FF 2.0.

I don't know if there is another way to deactivate it. This "option of sillyness" is called "caret browsing".

Remember: F7 helps...

(Only when you have this problem, otherwise you will cause the problem... Good luck with that!)

oh my, oh my. I haven't posted here in a very long time. I guess that's because I hardly dreamt, I wrote not a single chapter on my stories and spent all the time on the website.

Writing something on the progress of the website seemed silly, since this is what I do in the "site news"

So the site has a completely new face. The news are now integrated in the main page. And I am working on Art and Lookalikes at the moment.

Our little pussycat Neko has brought in her fifth mouse this morning. I hadn't even gotten up from bed yet, when she brought us this little present.

The official mouse and bird counter:
mice: 5
birds: 5

We wanted to get her off hunting birds, after she's brought us the first two. At first the bell at her collar worked, but then someone cut the hedge and the birds were a little clueless and got a little careless. And also Neko had a fews ticks (is that really the word used for this tiny blood sucking suckers? I realised I'd never used this word before, so I had to look it up) and we got her a special collar.

So after that she brought 3 more birds, two of them even though she was wearing a bell.

I was at the photokina today. That's a fair that's all about photography.

They finally have a Minolta digital SLR camera, the Dynax 7D. Something I have been waiting for for ages, since I have all the equipment one needs from my normal SLR cam. But as it seems it is a bit more expensive than let's say a Nikon D70. Jan has a Nikon so I would be able to use his equipment. But let's face it, most of the time he needs it himself, so it's either buying a camera for 1000 Euros and spending further money on lenses and flash (something you desperately need for a Star Trek Convention ) Or buying a camera for 1500 Euros where I've got everything.

I think I will wait a couple of months and see where it's going with the 7D.

Did I mention that I was actually looking for a smaller cam, something I'd use jsut for snapshots? Well sony has got one I like from the design but it has only 4 Megapix. The other one I like is a bit expensive - although I have found a cheaper offer by now. And then there is a nice cam by Canon that was recommended to me - I am not much of a Canon fan, besides if it was a sony cam, it would be using the Memory Stick - all my PCs have a MS Slot.

You wouldn't believe it. I just sat down to watch X-Men 2 while working on the website... Neko was lying on his usual place at my desktop pc, but as soon as I turned on the TV he came over and sat down on his box and looked at the screen. But during the Fox Intro Trailer he grew bored. He probably realised it wasn't football

Now he is lying on the bed, occasionally glancing at the screen while Kurt Wagner mixed up the White House.

On Sunday we picked up our new roommate from Jan's brother. His name is Neko (Japanese for cat. yes, very imaginative.)

That's him:

As you can see he likes webcomics. In this case Megatokyo. And he also shares my passion for what we Europeans call football and what others might call soccer.

I swear I did not put him there. Oh no no, I would never place the cat on my precious PS2.

For the record, it's the match Germany against Brasil.
